Generic::UI is a Toolkit for webform generation. This software package provides a rapid application develpoment environment for web applications. Based on some configuration it generates the whole database structure, all forms (for listing, editing or showing items of the database). Generic::UI is highly configurable and customizable.
The Generic::UI toolkit is currently under development. There is no public version available yet. The first public beta will be out 02/2003. A evaluation version for testing the toolkit will be available as well as a complete user guide and tutorial for WAD (web application development) using Generic::UI.
Generic::UI is used as the base module for the development of a firewall administration webinterface by daemon.de. You may take a look on the screenshot section to get a first impression what it looks like and what is possible.
